Nija R is currently working as Assistant Professor of English in Govt College Kasaragod. She joined Govt College Kasaragod on 01.06.2018. She is a native of Thiruvananthapuram. She took her Degree from All Saints’ College, Thiruvananthapuram and  MA from University College,Thiruvananthapuram. She completed her BEd from Govt Training College Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram. She had 2 years and 3 months previous experience as a Higher Secondary Teacher in Govt Model Higher Secondary School Karunagappally. She had presented a paper on Postcolonial Ecocriticism on an International Conference conducted by Kaash Foundation. She is currently doing PhD under Kannur University.
