Dr. Shiyas K.P. is an Assistant Professor of Arabic at Government College Kasaragod, Kerala. He holds a Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and an M.A. in Arabic from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), where he achieved the Second Rank. An awardee of the UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Dr. Shiyas has authored four books and published numerous research articles specializing in contemporary Arabic poetry, resistance literature, and literary criticism. In addition to teaching, he is an experienced bilingual translator and researcher.
