He is a post-graduate in Physics from Kannur University, Kannur. He was a researcher at the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science from 2011 to 2016. In 2017 he secured PhD on the topic of Spintronics from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. The title of his PhD thesis is “Development of spin-polarized low-energy electron diffraction and investigation of spin-orbit and exchange interactions on Ir(100) and Fe(100) grown on Ir(100). He is an experimental physicist and expert in instrumentation. His area of interest is condensed matter physics, thin-film technology and instrumentation.
