Dr Leena TL has the credit of twenty years of teaching experience. She
has always been active and committed in all her academic and co-
curricular assignments. She is dynamic and optimistic in all the
institutional involvements. She participated in many national and
international seminars and presented papers. She has the privilege of
being invited as a resource person for several academic programs
including planning curriculum by SCERT and by Saksharatha Mission,
syllabus revision by the University of Kerala and self study material
preparation by the School of Distance Education, University of Kerala.
She served as the chairman for the sixth Semester BA Communicative
English Degree Examinations ……. She has been invited as the subject
expert for the creation of Online Malayalam Nighandu by the Kerala
Bhasha Sahithya Institute.
Her area of research is English Language Teaching. She has a passion for
interdisciplinary academic activities as well. She has given a series of
lectures for KU Patasala video repository also.
She extended her service to the society by taking up the responsibility of
the National Social Service Scheme as a Program Officer. She was behind
the inception of the ‘Snehapoorvam Annam’ scheme which was later
taken over by the NSS Units of KNM Arts and Science College.
The programmes like ‘Let’s Read Some More’, ‘Let’s Listen Some More”
and ‘Better English’ are some of her initiatives.
